Responsabilités: 
  • Create and maintain PHP applications while maintaining security & performance standards
  • Analyze the performance of PHP applications, identifying and resolving bottlenecks
  • Interfacing with databases, managing SQL queries and providing data modeling experience for the purposes of data storage and real-time reporting
  • Working with the Centah application framework
  • Reports to the CIO, Team Lead
Expertises Techniques: 
  • Strong Experience with PHP 5
  • Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc...
  • Experience with database data manipulation and data modelin
  • Extensive experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript and familiarity with cross-browser design
  • Familiarity with C and/or C++
  • Knowledge of XUL, ExtJS and YUI is an asset
  • Familiarity with code management systems such as Git and CVS
  • Familiarity with Gentoo Linux is an asset
Critères Généraux: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering preferred
  • 5+ years experience of developing database driven web applications, and solid experience in the latest web technologies, including PHP 5, PostgreSQL, XML, CSS and Javascript
  • Excellent understanding of the full software development life-cycle including version control
  • Experience in developing database driven web applications combining back-end database skills with front-end integration
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while meeting tight deadlines
  • Extremely organized, articulate, detail-oriented and comfortable working within a team structure
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Excellent ‘people’ skills and a positive attitude a must.
