Planbox is a young startup building and commercializing a proprietary Agile Project Management
Software. We are looking for a web developer hotshot to wreak havoc in our code.

Open loft-style office with bi-weekly potlucks, casual dress code, get-in- whenever-you-want -type
schedule, all you can drink coffee and tea, beer-on-tap-I-kid-you-not, funky art on the office walls and
coed bathroom; we are located on the Plateau.


Planbox is a single-page web application. The backend is the engine; in PHP and MySQL and Node JS.
The front-end of the app is in Javascript (jQuery) and Backbone JS (MVC).

 

Responsabilités: 

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Programming, testing and documenting the continued development of the engine and the app.
  • Working with a small team in order to release software applications on time, as per the specifications.
  • Conducting own unit level testing/QA.
  • Integrating software applications with other systems.
  • Providing analysis documentation during project lifecycle.
  • Evaluating new technology and making recommendations for adoption.


 

Expertises Techniques: 
  • Excellent knowledge of PHP and JavaScript;
  • Experience with jQuery and Javascript MVC framework;
  • Experience with MySQL;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and execute projects;
  • Experience working on small project teams;
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and XP;
  • Advanced tactical training and bringing your own “Nerf” gun to the interview, a plus;
  • Passion and commitment to developing leading edge technology, working hard and having fun in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
