Goldeneye Solutions is looking for an experienced or entry‐level web developer to work on an exciting
and unique project called GOL Network (golnetwork.com).
You’re an ideal candidate if you have a strong desire to solve technical problems and you love
challenges.

This is a full‐time opportunity but part‐time is an option for an experienced candidate (3 years+).

Can I work from home?
It’s an option. The culture at Goldeneye is to create an environment where people strive to get things
done (complete their mission) and inspire each other. So naturally, working at the office is preferred but
for experienced developers, we will trust your judgment to stay home whenever you feel more
productive. We expect a minimum of 3 days at the office.
I don't live in Montreal, should I apply?
You’re expected to live in Montreal. You’ll love it here (if you can survive the winter).

Responsabilités:

• Participate in developing GOL Network: a sports platform that allows teams & players to earn reward points.
• Develop & maintain existing business critical applications in the retail and telecom industry.
• Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
• Work with the MV Framework, an innovative PHP & JavaScript framework for developing web based application.
• Work in an agile environment but adhere to software development standards.

Expertises Techniques:

• You’ve heard of PHP or are an experienced PHP developer.
• You understand HTML/CSS. • You understand the MVC pattern.
• You’ve already built a web site or published a web application.
• You have a passion for solving problems.
• You learn quickly.

Critères Généraux:

• You’ve worked with a PHP framework before (Zend, Code Ignitor, 3+ years experience).
• Experience with a JavaScript toolkit (dojo, jquery, yui).
• Experience with e‐commerce and payment processing.
• Experience with SVN (or other revision control).
• You’ve used PostgreSQL and key‐value stores such as Redis, Cassandra or Memcache.
• You’ve written a PHP extension before (c skills).
• You understand Amazon EC2 or the basics of a cloud based infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English.
• You play or have a passion for team sports.
